Airfare is horrific, train times are not so great, and I need to get my duaghter and bring her back to Paris with me next weekend. The Thalys website and CNFG (sp) don't allow me to research options as I am travleing through multiple countries....anyone have any advice?

You can get both detailed timetables and fares for Paris-Bremen at www.bahn.de. Click on "Internat. Guests" for English. After you get summary timetables, click on "Details for all" to see the connecting points. You will be shown more than one route, some listing fares and some not. To get fares for the routes not listed, get timetables for each leg separately.
If you choose to take a Thalys train to Koeln and an ICE train from there to Bremen, here is how to book each one. Book the Paris-Koeln Thalys train at either www.sncf.com or www.thalys.com and choose to pick up your ticket at a station in Paris. Book the Koeln-Bremen ICE train at www.bahn.de. If you book soon, you should be able to get a Dauer-Spezial fare of €29. Print your own ticket.

Thanks so much for the advise. You have been the first person to truly assist with my travel concerns. I have everything booked, at reasonable times/travel and first class all the way for less than what raileurope had quoted me for second class!!!
