My husband will be arriving at Hauptbahnhof from the Munich airport. My daughter and I will be arriving at Hauptbahnhof from Venice. Can anyone suggest a good meeting place for us within the train station?

Attached are two maps of the Munich Hauptbahnhof, one from MVV and one from Bayern-Takt. Both show a "Service Point" just off the end of track 18 (middle of the platform at the end of the tracks). "Below" that, off tracks 12-17, is a food court with lots of seating. I suggest you plan to meet there, as close to the center aisle leading into the station as you can get.

Inside the train station in Munich looking over all of the train tracks that are under the roof there is a 2nd floor balcony that you can stand by or sit at a table and see over the entire station. There are a few sandwich places and coffee shops up there as well. We purchased a sandwich and watched the board from there waiting for our train to Salzburg. It is also an easy place from someone to spot you if you are standing up there waiting for them. Good Luck!!

burger king up stairs. or just find out what track your train is arriving at and have them wait there. give them your train number and they will find it on the board.
