I am distantly related to the Seibels who own the shoe factory in Hauenstein Germany, and will be in Germany for a week in July. I doubt that I will be able to make it to Hauenstein, but was wondering if anybody has visited that small town, and if they know of any touristy things to do there, perhaps even a tour of the factory? I suspect that the best I will be able to do is to buy some Seibel shoes while I am in Germany, but was curious if it would make sense to try and visit Hauenstein.
