Has the acceptance of the VISA cc been limited because of the debt crisis?

Nothing has popped up about Visa Credit Cards and isn't likely to. Treasury bonds didn't waver through the "panic " because the Treasury knew we'd never default. The economy sucks for a variety of fundamental reasons. The S&P rating is a joke. The US can pays it's debts and has since the American Revolution. If you want an economy that's in crisis, look at Spain's. My advice is to use a debit card to get cash from the ATM's. Spend the cash on meals, tickets, trinkets, and use the CC for accommodations.

Thanks so much - as I suspected, this is an urban myth that someone started. We're taking a group of college students so I just want to make sure I'm not missing something.
