Such a tragedy to hear about the disastrous flood around the Riviera area. I'm flying to Nice tomorrow and was wondering if anyone out there has information on if it has impacted either Nice, Monaco, or St. Tropez. Any information is appreciated as are any good thoughts going towards the people who lost loved ones.
If you do a search you can find some news articles. Here are two that I found:

It appears the worst was in the town of Draguignan in the Var. But it also appears that St. Tropez was impacted. So you may want to stay in Nice/Monaco area.
No for Nice and Monaco. The area is closer to St. Tropez but I don't think it was hit.
On Sunday we traveled from Nice to Marseilles by train and it was very slow going due to the flood. We missed our Paris connection. Other than that we didn't notice anything.
not at all. as the other poster said, its further west. if on the train from marselles to nice, you will pass over the flood path
