I couldn't find any reviews for this camping site and wanted to get other travellers opinions.
Thanks
I've always thought that would be a great place to stay with kids but the travel into and out of Venice seems like a lot. Venice, also, is such a great place to be at night, that it would be a shame to miss it because you have to catch the bus back to the camping. There are some very reasonable budget hotels (bathroom on the hall) in Venice if the issue is cost.
So, now that I have not answered your question, I'm interested to see if others respond with actual experience there.
My best friend and his friends stayed at a campsite just outside of Venice last year on their 3 week whirlwind trip to Europe (not sure which one, I'll try to find out though).
If at all possible, I would opt for a hotel/b&b in the city. The BEST bits of Venice are early in the morning and late at night. If you don't stay in the city, you'll only experience the mad, tourist/cruise boat invasion that occurs during the daytime hours.
My friend wants to go back to Venice, because he feels he never actually really got to experience it having stayed at a campsite. I know I'm probably answering a question that wasn't actually asked - but none the less hope you take our experiences into consideration =) Have a nice trip!
