Has anyone booked the Star/OneWorld Alliance flights on Vayama/CheapOAir?

I keep seeing flights on both Vayama and CheapOAir where they "hide" the airline. They tell you it's part of the One World or Star Alliance....has anyone booked one of these? When do you find out what the airline is?

They aren't listed on Continental's partner list as a Star member. The only thing it might be is a code share where they "hide", however, I would be pretty dubious.

Thanks for your help! Are these safe sights to book with? (In your opinion?) I see lots of people complaining about changing their tickets/customer service...

These are consolidator tickets. If you are 100% sure your plans won't change, do it.

If you forsee the need to change a flight, don't.

You'll usually get the best fares on international flights through agencies selling consolidator tickets, for more information I love this faq written by Edward Hasbrouck, author of the Practical Nomad.

YMMV on the customer service you receive from the agency that sells you the ticket.
