Hair Appliances

I'm going to Spain. Been to Europe a few times but never with my flat iron and hair dryer. If I take them and a converter will I still run the risk of burning them out? They are both higher end appliances so I don't want to run the risk. Thanks to anyone who can help.

If they are "higher end" they are probably also dual voltage. If so you wouldn't need a converter, only a plug adapter.
