We will be flying in and out of Hahn airport too late and too early to stay in St. Goar the night before. Can anyone reccomend a cheap, safe hotel for me and my two kids for one night?

In Mar 2003, I stayed at the Apartment Haus zum Hahn (now the Advance Hotel zum Hahn; http://www.advance-hotel-zum-hahn.de/en/index.php) about 5 mins from the airport and was quite happy. (This was also before an early morning flight.) They are reasonable, clean, and friendly and offer free transfers to and from the airport. They're currently listing a triple at EUR 60 without breakfast.

Personally I found the InterCity Hotel to be a clean and save place and I had a very pleasant stay there. There are free shuttle busses from the Terminal to the nearby hotel.
