gypsy jazz in Paris

Gypsy jazz supposedly is big in Paris. Does anyone know where you can go to hear it? We'll be there mid-July. I'd be interested in learning about venues in Paris for other musical genres, too. Thanks.

I would also love to hear some Django Reinhardt style stuff there too.

Doesn't exactly answer your question but there are a couple of groups that play in the metro stations, they are excellent! I recall one them being in corridors of Montparnasse Station.

I've been trying to research the same topic for my upcoming trip to Paris. There is a musician by the name of Frangy Delporte who plays in the style of Django Reinhardt, but I can't really find that he performs anywhere regularly. I also found a cafe called La Chope des Puces in Saint-Ouen (122 Rue des Rosiers) where manouche jazz is reguarly played on weekends, but again, not much info out there.
