My parents are looking into taking an 8-10 day long guided tour of Poland (my dad's family is from there). They prefer using tour companies as opposed to self-guided tours. They have done most of Europe but are having a hard time finding a tour company that actually tours Poland (not just a stop in Krakow). They found Polish American Tours out of W. Springfield, MA. The tour sounds like exactly what they want...does anyone have experience with the company or know where I can find some reviews? I've also checked Trip Advisor but there is nothing current. Also, if you have had experience with another company - please let me know that as well! They are looking to travel Aug/Sept 2014. Thanks in advance!
Hi Kristina - If you go to the Trip Reports section of the Travelers Helpline, there is a post from someone who took an organized tour of Poland. You could PM him to get the name of the tour company.
Thank you!!
In 2011, we took a 7 day guided tour of Poland that we booked through Blue Danube Holidays. The tour was called Scenic Poland. I handled everything via email. www.bluedanubeholidays.com http://www.europetraveltours.net/poland_escorted_tour-scenic-poland.htm We really enjoyed our tour and felt we saw a lot in a short time. We had a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who was with us during the entire trip as well as experienced local guides at our different stops. This tour was the first week of a 3 week trip and I must say we needed a couple of days to catch our breath after the tour. It was fast paced but we never could have seen that much on our own. We felt the money spent was good value and Blue Danube followed through on every aspect of our trip. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
