There are guided tours in English at the Louvre, at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm, for 5 euro per person. Tours last 90 minutes. Go to www.louvre.fr for further details.

Hi Nat,
I highly recommend taking advantage of the evenings that the Louvre is open late. The days are packed where the evening is very nice and enjoyable.

www.paris-walks.com has a night time "highlights" tour which was perfect for us.

The Louvre also has themed self-guided tours that you can download from their website. I did the "palace to museum" route last year, which also goes past all the highlights. After about 7 pm on Friday evening, I all but had the museum to myself (early June last year).
