Guide for D-Day Sites

I have a family of five (children ages 16, 11 and 10). We will be touring the D-Day sites this summer. I am having a tough time finding a guide -- all of the recommendations in the FRANCE book are unavailable. My question is as follows: (a) does a guide add significantly to the exerience and (b) do you have any recommendations appart from those in the Rick Steves book. merci.

Yes, a guide is indispensable. They very often take you places, and get you into places that you, on your own, would never see. The very best of the bunch is Mr. Woodadge's Battlebus. Steve, Dayton, OH.
