We would like to go to the more traditional cheesemaking farm which is 5 miles above in Moleson. We won't be hiking and we won't have a car. Rick Steves' book doesn't indicate how to get there, only that is there. Does anyone know or has anyone done it and have any insight? Thanks!

hi Ali, depending of when you go you can get there by bus from gruyères it is a 24 min ride. the moutain cheese dairy is close for the winter, and re-opens in may. here is the link with some information in english

We'll actually be there in May so we figured it will be open. I couldn't find anywhere when it stated there was alternate transportation.
