Got an opportunity to work in santa fe. any one been there? please advise what it is like, proximity to other areas, etc. thanks a bunch!

Sheila, As I'm sure you have noticed it is very close to Granada. I was there two weeks ago. I found the area very scenic and you are close to Granada, but also to the Nerja and the south coast (easy 45min drive). I found the area between Granda and Santa Fe to be a bit "depressing" at times. Had the feel and looks of a run-down area. But other than that, I enjoyed my time there. Stephen

Thanks for the response. Is it possible to live in Granada(city) and commute to Santa Fe? Not sure if i will have a car. Do the buses run there? What is Santa Fe itself, like? From my searches it looks like an airport suburb without much else.
