We're in Seville from a Friday until Tuesday in June. Planning on catching an early (7am) train that gets us to Granada at 10am. All day in Granada/Alhambra and an evening train back. Anyone done this? Any preference to a Saturday vs. Sunday in Granada? Advice appreciated.

I won't but it will be exhausting. You must secure the timed ticket in advance. The Alhambra is the most popular tourist site in all of Spain both for locals and tourist -- think Disneyland -- crowds about the same. It is massive. You didn't indicate time of year but am guessing not much difference between Sat and Sun. Doubt if you will have much time to see the rest of Granada.
