Gorbio France!!!!

Drive carefully--lots of switchbacks in the road. It's beautiful up there. You'll have to rent a car or hire a car and driver.

Sorry to say I don't know of Gorbio. Eze le Village is easily reached by hourly bus from Gare Routier near the old town in Nice.

Would it be easier to get to Eze? Is that a pretty cool place?

You could take the train to Nice, just a short journey, and then a bus or taxi up to Eze Village.

Yes, Eze is much easier to reach but quite different. You can take a local train, bus or taxi from Monaco. Gorbio is a local village with limited tourism. Last time I was there, with family who live in the area, there was one cafe and a restaurant open seasonally and no souvenir shops. It's set back further from the coast, though you can see the sea from up there. It's a perched village; local people who work in places like Monaco live there. Eze has shops, restaurants, and a lot of attractions set up. The setting is spectacular and you can get a sense of what it was like to live in a perched village on top of a mountain. A lot of tourists go there from ships and all kinds of tours. Tourism in Gorbio is much more limited, mainly local French and Italian people.

You can see the difference just by looking at the photos on line. For Gorbio someone has posted a photo of laundry drying across the road from the communal laundry house. For Eze, you can see restaurants, shops, etc. BTW, how did you discover Gorbio?
