Hi, there are two of us travelling from Zurich to Paris by train (not sure which one yet) and we're wondering if there's a good place to stop along the way and spend a night. We have an extra night to stop based on when the people we're staying with in Paris are expecting us. Any suggestions?? Also, any suggestions on trains from zurich to Paris? Thanks so much!!

The train journey to Paris is direct via high-speed TGV train, 4.5 hours. So it doesn't make much sense to break-up the journey. Instead I would spend the extra day in Switzerland: Berner Oberland, Luzern, or Lusanne (you can also catch the TGV here)are good options. An extra day in Paris never hurts:) Check schedules at the Swiss Rail site: http://rail.ch
