My husband and I are planning a trip to Cannes, France for the middle of July and we are wondering which hotel(s) would be good to stay at for the week. We would like it to be close to the beach and the shopping section. Any advice would be grateful.

Hotel Splendid is near the public beach and has reasonable prices.
