Good hotels in Paris- Young couple!

My husband and I are going to Europe over Christmas and will be in Paris for 5 nights from the 22-27th. We are trying to find a reasonably priced hotel (double) as we are college students. We would like something that has a pretty good night life. We would also like something that is centrally located to all of the main tourist locations.

Thanks

Not sure what you mean about nightlife and a hotel. but you can always metro to the nightlife. consider staying at Hotel Kensington nr Eiffel Tower great low rates for Paris and very walkable to alot.. Reserve soon for Xmas.

Hi,

I really have to recommend apartments from vacationinparis.com. They have apartments all over the city in a variety of price ranges, we booked with them in September, the Eiffel Tower Lookout, #154 and it was fantastic. As far as location is concerned, I wouldn't be overly worried about where you stay as you can get from point A to point B by Metro in a jiffy.

I have been to Paris three times. The best place I stayed was in the Latin Quarter. There is more nightlife there. Look at an apt. Then you can save on eating out.

I think the 5th arr/Latin Quarter would be the ideal place. There are so many good little restaurants, cafes, crepe stands and Rue Mouffetard is a great market street. And all is walking distance to Notre Dame and the St Germaine area. Look at vacationinparis for an apt. They are located in New Jersey and you pay for your rental in USD.

Why do you want to stay in a hotel and have fun in its bar? Paris is a great city , with a lot of places for night fun.
Try Hotelreservations.com. A few years ago I booked a double room in Paris for a very good price, 50Euros , I think.

Nikki, check out Best Western La Tour Notre Dame. It is in the Latin Quarter a few blocks from Notre Dame and Sorrbone-spelling? and is reasonably priced.

My wife and I stayed in Paris for three nights about a year ago. Honestly, don't worry about a central location. Things are spread around the city. You'll benefit, budget wise, if you book on the fringes of the center city area. Then when you get to the city, buy the commuter rail pass. They have a three day special for a really good value. You can ride all you want, but they do stop late at night. We found out the hard way when we left the Moulin Rouge's late show... Have fun! Paris is a wonderful and beautiful city. And don't believe what people say about the Parisians. We were polite to them, and they were polite to us.
