Where exactly in France will you be? "France and surrounding area" is quite a large piece of geography.

We will be starting in Lyon, France. We certainly are planning to see Toulouse, Nice and Monaco. Afterwards, we are considering possibly Spain and Italy. Or, we could go the other direction and go to Switzerland, Austria and/or Belgium.
