Good bike trips from Murren

Brendon, you need to get a copy of RS Switzerland or Best of Europe book. He describes a couple of good rides. I believe my husband and sons did two rides down from Murren. The first one I think was over to Winteregg and down from there to Lauterbrunnen, the other one was over to Isenflu, however that one was fairly challenging and took them through a tunnel which sounded a little dangerous (although they thought it was a blast). They also rode from Lauterbrunnen almost all the way to Interlaken then took the train back.

When we go back to Murren we're going to do the bike trip Rick describes in the guidebook. We walked it in August 2011 and it was amazing, but biking it would be AMAZING, if you see what I did there. It's downhill from Murren to Gimmelwald (you'll be using your brake almost the whole time), then flat through the valley, and minor hills once you take the lift back up. You'll have a blast!
