Good B&B in Fussen, Lindau-Bodensee, Germany, and Innsbruck, Austria

Now that I have whittled my itinerary so my 2 week trip isn't so "whacky" anymore, I just need some recommendations for places to stay in these three areas. We have a group of 5 traveling the first two weeks of April. Thanks!

Hi Tami,

I don't have recommendations for your exact question, but...

While not a B&B, we liked the Hotel zum Hechten in Fuessen. We stayed here in 2001 and 2003 and can highly recommend it.

While we never stayed in Innsbruck, we loved our stays at the Gasthof Badl (in RS book) in Hall in Tirol, about 6 miles from Innsbruck. We stayed here in 2001, 2003, 2005 and simply love the owners, location, views, etc.

Hope this helps.

I hesitated to answer this question because both of my answers don't fit your criteria 100%. However, I can add my recommendation to Gasthof Badl. We stayed there in 2001 and 2003 and liked it. It also has a restaurant right on the premises that was very good. When we visited the Fussen area, we stayed in neighboring Pinswang at Gusthof Zum Schluxen. It was a farm, and we loved it here. It also has an excellent restaurant. Of course, these will only work for you based on your transportation needs. Both of these places are in Rick Steve's Germany/Austria book. Have a great trip.
