My 18 yo son and I are thinking about playing a round of golf while in Spain or France. We will be there in July and will be visiting Madrid, Barcelona and Paris. Anyone have any suggestions?

Not far from Paris is a golf course, Saint-Nom-la-Breteche, where my dad and my husband played golf. They loved it. You can find it on google. Don't know if you'll have a car... if not, you could take the RER to the town of St. Germain-en-Laye and a taxi from there.

Check out Valencia, it's a short train ride from Madrid. We stayed at a hotel right next to a golf course and there are quite a few others in the area. It's also a nice city worth the visit....your wife(?) could enjoy the day wandering around the central area or at the world class Aquarium while you & your son play golf!
