Hi, I am travelling to Bern, Switzerland on 2nd May and plan to go for the Golden Round Trip on 3rd May. I checked from the website http://www.pilatus.ch/content-n55-sE.html
that it has a daily departure from 1100 to 1500 but it is only for 24 November 2011 to1 April 2012. They did not post anything for May 2012 onwards. I would like to know if I can still join this if I arrive Lucerne on 3rd May morning from Berne.

The cogwheel train up Pilatus starts running in early to mid-May. It does not appear they have set a firm date to start yet, and May 3 may be too early. You can still go up Mt. Pilatus by the cablecar from Kriens, but it won't be the "Golden Round Trip," which includes a boat ride and cogwheel train.
