Where is the best place to stay? Looking for moderately priced hotel, going for snow boarding & night life.

Nightlife is not all that great in Murren. I would look into Wengen or Davos for the wintersports/apres ski combo.

I personally like Meiringen. Gondola up to Planplatten and while I wasn't there in winter, that bowl looked like it would be a blast to ski down. I'm not a boarder, so I couldn't really guage if it would be liked by boarders. Heck, I don't even use shaped skis... Meiringen also has a decent nightlife as I recall.
