I am arriving in Zurich and heading to Zermatt for a night. I am considering picking up the Glacier Express from Chur or Andermatt. From Chur is a little more expensive and takes about 3 hours longer... is it worth it? Will I see the best views from Andermatt-Zermatt?

I (and many others) consider the best views the ones at the extremes of the route: St. Moritz-Chur and Visp-Zermatt. No point going all the way to Chur and the track back IMO if you are not going to St. Moritz.

We did this trip today and thought it sensational. We did Zermatt to Chur and are doing Chur o St Moritz tomorrow. I would recommend doing as much of the route as you can. Eden
