Giverny tour

Have any of you taken one of the Giverny tours out of Paris? I googled and there seems to be gobs of companies and the price ranges are all over the place also.
Any info on a company offering a pleasant tour for a reasonable amount would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Unless you have a special reason for wanting to take an organized tour, why not go on your own? Take a train from Paris to Vernon (€11.90). Go by either taxi, bus, or rental bike to Giverny. See this page for more information: http://giverny.org/transpor.

For train timetables, go to either www.sncf.com (click on the British flag in the lower left-hand corner) or www.bahn.de (click on "Internat. Guests").

Hi Virginia:

As Tim suggests, You can easily do Giverny as a day trip from Paris on your own. Once there they do offer guided walks if you you want.

We went last May on our own. It's easy to do, very relaxing, more affordable and delightful on one's own time and pace.

I have posted pics on www.shuuterfly.com if you want to peek.

Enjoy.
