Definitely go to Giverny; we LOVED it! You will feel as if you stepped into a Monet painting of his water garden. I do hope I get the chance to see it again one day.

I was there 2 years ago also, October 2nd and the flowers were everywhere!!!
I really loved the whole town. It was a highlight of my 2 weeks in Paris! Happy Travels!

We visited Giverny in October three years ago. The flowers were beautiful but different than the spring flowers. More dahlias and other fall flowers. As with everything, it will depend on what the weather has been but I think you can still enjoy seeing the gardens. We also like going to the exhibits at the American Museum of Art which is located a few blocks from the Monet house. The gardens there are also beautiful. Do you need someone to carry your luggage...at your expense, of course! :)
