Where can you buy tickets to Giverny in Paris before going there? Are they date sensitive? Can you get train tickets the day before going there anywhere outside the train station itself?

You can buy tickets at FNC, in Les Halles. They are slightly more than face value, but you don't have to stand on line! No need to get train tickets early, as they ran very often during the day. We took the metro to St Gare Lezare and walked up the stairs to get the train at the same name.
It was so beautiful, even on Oct 1st. Happy Travels!
