Highly recommend Les Clos du Remparts - it's a B & B situated in the old part of Avignon, just inside the ramparts. It is run by Aida Assad, the most delightful and helpful hostess you will find. Check it out on Google.

Thank you Ian. We want to have a kitchen however, so a B&B will not be suitable.

Try the website for Gites de France. http://www.gites-de-france.com/ I have had really good experience with them...
