Any suggestions for a mid-range hotel in central Ghent in Belgium for 2 nights in June? We will be arriving by train so parking is not needed. Price range about $150-$200.

that would be around €110 to €145 per night for 2?
For €154 per Cosy Room at Hotel Harmony in Gent you can get a nice room, but not one of the fancier ones, including breakfast as a double room. I've stayed there several times and loved it every time. The breakfast is wonderful, the hotel is a small family owned boutique hotel that I think may now be in the RS book, the staff are all wonderful. The hotel is on a canal on the north side of the town within a very short walk of everything except either of the train stations. Like the rest of the centre of Gent it is a short tram ride from both stations. I do acknowledge that that is slightly over your budget, but now that RS has heard of Gent prices have gone up a bit.

I know, a bit outside of your budget, but the night time views of the castle and the charm of the bnb made it worth the price. We stayed 3 nights as part of our honeymoon.
