Gimmelwald fans out there, please advise your favorite way to get from Gimmelwald to Paris. Which major Swiss city nearest Gimmelw is best to fly or train to Paris?

The train route I'd choose departs Interlaken Ost at 09:01, arriving Gare d'Est at 14:34 (Time 5H33M, one change in Basel, reservations compulsory for the TGV portion). There's only 7 minutes to change trains in Basel, so you'd need to be quick!
Getting from Gimmelwald to Interlaken Ost is very easy, but of course you'd need to be on your way fairly early in the morning. There's a similar train departing at 13:01, arriving Paris at 18:34 (which still isn't really too late if you wanted to get a late start from Gimmelwald). There are numerous trains available on that route, but some have 3 changes, so I chose the easiest and simplest method.
