Where would you recommend picking up a car(CDG, Orly, or would anything be available at the train station) to drive from Paris to Normandy? We'll be taking the train from London to Paris. Hertz has unlimited mileage and its actually cheaper to p/u in Paris than Bayeux. I understand that gas is expensive and there will be tolls, but we could see the sights and save trainfare, taxi and have more flexibility of where to stay overnight. Looking at Sat. afternoon to Monday afternoon. Suggestions please.

Carol - We're renting a car from Hertz next month and are picking it up at the Hertz office at Avenue de Saint-Cloud in Paris. It's easy to reach by the Metro and appears to be very easy to get onto the A13. Either bring a GPS with you or use the viamichelin for specific driving instructions.
