Wondering if this is possible and how? to get from Oberammergau and or Munich to France, Switzerland or Italy via train? Thanks

Or, just wait until Lee from Colorado answers your question. It's possible to travel anywhere in Europe between two points that have rail access. The only question is how long you want to remain on a train.

Since you didn't say where in France, Switzerland, or Italy, It's kind of hard to give an exact answer. You can get from Munich to Italy (Brennero) in 2½ hours or St. Gallen, Switzerland in just over 4 hrs. Strasbourg is less than four hours from Munich by TGV/ICE.
