Plane leaves MRS for US at 8 AM weekday (airport check-in at 5 AM?). Will be at Aix-en-Provence with car the week before. Best advice for getting to airport to catch flight, please!
Car agency does not open until 7 AM at airport. Any good hotels at airport? Leave car in Aix and take shuttle to airport night before?

The Auto Europe site lists an after hours drop box at MRS. Perhaps the agency you're using has one, too.

Double-check with the airline, but I'm betting for an 8AM flight out of MRS, you need to be at the airport by 6:30 - certainly NOT at 5AM. You should be able to drop off your car early (though once again, double-check with the agency). And at that hour, it will take you about 20 minutes to drive from Aix to the airport.
