Does anyone know the earliest train from Murren to Grustchalp to lauterbrunnen to get to interlaken ost? I'm trying to book my spiez to Milan ticket on trenitalia and it looks like if I don't get to Spiez for an 8am leave time I've got to wait till 2pm.

You can make it. The first train leaves Mürren BLM for Grutschalp at 6:06 with onward connections that get you to Interlaken Ost at 6:54 and Spiez at 7:21. The next one, departing Mürren at 6:36 will get you to Spiez at 7:50 which would work too, but it depends on your comfort level.

According to the Swiss Rail site, you can leave Muerren BLM at 06:36, connect in Lauterbrunnen and Interlaken Ost, and arrive in Spiez at 07:50, in time to catch the 08:05 train to Milan.

Judith, I don't know why you couldn't find it. I put in Mürren, with the umlaut, as the starting point; Tim apparentlynput in the alternate spelling, Muerren. If you do either it should give yup the menu with cloices. mürren BLM is the train station. You also havebto put in the time. I think if you spell it Murren it won't recognize it.
