We are planning to visit Bayeau in Sept. Question: How does one get from Gare du Nord to Gare St. Lazare using the METRO system. Seems like a simple proposition as both stations are less then 2 mi apart as the crow flies. FYI:We're not paying for a freakin taxi in Paris no matter what!
On second thought, what's the approximate cost for a taxi ride to Gare St. Lazare from Gare du Nord? We appreciate all answers, please be specific as to streets, METRO stops and if possible names / colors of METRO lines. If walking is an option, please let us know the best route we should take and approximatge distance / time. Thanks in advance for your help! Tom S.
