Getting From CDG (Paris) to Hotel

Hi everyone, Would anyone be able to suggest the easiest (but cheapest) method to get from CDG airport to my hotel (les citadines) located near place d'italie (13th arrondissement)? I will be carrying a large (29'' bag, a carry on, and a bookbag). There's no way for me to take less since I will be studying in Paris for a whole semester. It seems like taking the RER and then metro might be difficult with my luggage since there are not many escalators in the metro stations. Any advice is appreciated!
Thank you!

Looking at the Paris bus map one alternative would be to take the Air France bus (not limited to Air France air passengers) from CDG to Gare de Lyon, and then take the Paris urban bus route 57 from Gare de Lyon to Place d'Italie. Or use a taxi.

With that much luggage, the bus or Metro could be very difficult. You can forget "cheapest." If you can handle the luggage on the RER as far as Gare du Nord or St.-Michel, you could take a taxi from there. Sometimes taking a cab is the best solution.

Take a taxi, Daniela. You will be tired and you want "easiest". Be kind to yourself.

Transporting a semester's books, clothes, computer, camera, hairdryer, etc. Dang the money and take a taxi this one time. You can be frugal for the rest of the semester. Or take SuperShuttle. They have a Paris branch.

I am a big fan of taking RER , but with all that luggage I too suggest biting the bullet , budgeting 45-55 euros and taking a taxi.. as said, eat a few more sandwiches and tap water to make it work.. lol It will be worth it after a long flight with all that stuff.
PS at airport take taxis ONLY from offical taxi stand, ignore taxi drivers who randomly approach you, they lure you with cheaper sounding set price but then change their tune when you are in the taxi,, proper taxis are METERED and there is a legal one euro per suitcase extra fee on top of metered fee. Also best to write down the full address of where you are going , including the arrondissmont number ( 75013) so there will be no miscommunicating .

I think Philip had the best idea: take the Air France "Les Cars" bus to Gare de Lyon, then a taxi to your hotel. The bus leaves every half hours, costs 17 euros (less if you're under 25), and gets you to within a short taxi ride of your destination. You have to deal with your luggage at Gare de Lyon, but it shouldn't be difficult as the bus stop and the taxi stand are close together. Should cost a lot less than the taxi fare all the way in from CDG (we paid about 60 between the Gare de Lyon area and CDG a few years back). See http://www.lescarsairfrance.com/en.html.
