In a little over a week, we will be traveling to Germany to visit family that is living there. After doing a few days of traveling on our own, we are meeting our family in Brussels. I already made all of our other train reservations weeks ago but was waiting on our family to make our final train reservations back to Frankfurt on Sunday May 6th. I recently found out that my brother in law and his family will be driving instead of taking the train to meet us so I need to make our own plans to get back to Frankfurt as there is not enough room in their car for us to return with them. Had I known this, I would have made these reservations weeks ago when the cheap rates were still available on the Bahn site. I did still find a few train tickets for 49 euros per person. So my question is - should I go ahead and book these tickets while they are still available or is there another way to get back to Frankfurt that I am not thinking of? I am guessing that taking any other method will take a much longer time! Thanks,
Jen
Ooops! The 49 euro tickets were for 0600! Don't want to leave that early. The afternoon tickets are 79 euros each.
Just disappointed that I waited to book the trip with our family and didn't get the 49euro tickets weeks ago when they were still available for the afternoon train.
