Getting around in the Bernese Oberland region of Switz

I will be in the Bernese Oberland area (Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen Vally, etc) for 4 days in June. Will my Global Euro Rail pass let me ride regional trains? If not, what is my best bet to get me around and up to the top of the mountains on the cable cars?

Thank you

I can't remember for sure about the train from Interlaken Ost (East station) to Lauterbrunnen - it may or may not be covered by the pass. But that's it. All the other cable cars, trains, and funiculars from that point up are definitely NOT covered by the pass, although the pass will get you a discount (15% to 25% on certain lifts/trains).

Swiss Passes cover all of that territory up the mountains as high as Wengen and Mürren. Beyond that a hefty discount is offered. When traveling in Switzerland it's best to have some sort of Swiss Pass product.
