Germany and Mosel Valley to Munich and possibly Berlin

planning Trip for late summer early September...so far I have figured out the following: Fly into Frankfort take train to Bacharach (2 nights) Bacharach... Cruise to St. Goar Tour Rheinfels Castle and area. Train from Bacharach to Cochem/Koblenz and the Mosel Valley but then I get a little fuzzy on how to get around in the Valley..boat, but then it looks as if I have to get back to Cochem by bus from Beilstein. (?)... Then take a train to Trier? I can figure out where to go from Trier, just not sure how to get there, without going back to Cochem?.. (1 night) Trier. Train from Trier to Baden-Baden...then I am not sure how to get from Baden-Baden to Rothenburg.. ( 2-3 nights) Rothenburg then I need to get into Austria.
Suggestions? We have 14 days...
