Does anyone know about the Geneva Transport Card? I understand you can get it for free if you stay there at a hotel overnight. However, here's the deal--we land at 8am, but most hotels don't check you in until 4pm. Would the hotels allow you to have the Transport Card and use it on that day even though you don't officially get a room until 4pm?

All hotels will allow you to check-in as early as you want. Your room may not be ready until 4pm, but they will happily hold your bags and give you your transit card. If you're using a Swiss Pass, it will also cover municipal transit systems.
