geneva switzerland surrounding areas

Traveling from Italy to Austria and on to Switzerland. Staying in Wengen, Switzerland before heading home from Geneva. Is Bern/Murten and Montreux/Lausanne worth spending 2 nights in each location? Or is there another more worthwhile place to see near Geneva?
