Geneva Lodging Recommendations?

Hi everyone,
I bought the Switzerland book but it doesn't say anything about lodging in Geneva. We only want to stay there one night and we would like an average accomodation. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help.

Manotel Edelweiss...absolutely FUN! It's not fancy, but it's clean, super nice staff, 1 or 2 blocks from the lake, FANTASTIC Dinner with rather touristy show of alpine music and yodeling. Yes, it's a bit touristy, but it's great fun - and the food is delicious. If you want dinner you had better make reservations because it books up fast. The interior of the hotel is decorated in lots of wood to resemble an alpine lodge or chalet.
