What is the definition of a garni hotel?
Based on my Internet search, it appears to mean a hotel that does not have a restaurant, but offers breakfast (I assume a continental type breakfast).
Hi Ken,
We've stayed in garni's before in Bavaria, Austria and the Dolomite region of Italy. They don't have restaurants (lunch/dinner) but do have breakfast. Sometimes it's "continental" and sometimes a buffet breakfast. You can easily check when you're deciding on a place to stay. Places will mention if it's a buffet breakfast on their website.
