So - next Easter .... arrive in Porto Portugal on Good Friday at 6:30 AM and the plan is to rent a car and head north to Spain for a few days, then return car to Porto, spend one night and fly to Lisbon to finish off spring break. So - yes this is a long way off but to score first class FF tix I book early - I would love thoughts. Night one I am thinking Pontevedra looks like nice, then do we stay there and do day trips (having a car looks a bit of a pain but I see there are underground garages. Or do we stay one night and move on to Santiago de Compostola for a few nights and then is Baiona worth stopping for a night on way back to Porto? Should we do a day trip (or night) up to A Coruna .... We are fairly savvy travelers, two adults and a teenager, and don't mind one night stays. Usually we prefer taking the train but on previous trip to Portugal we found driving was easy (and more convenient than the train. I would love some feedback if anyone has been! We have 8 nights total (into Porto and out of Lisbon) and are not averse to up to 4 of them being in Galacia.
