I am planning an trip on August this year. I am having a bit difficulty finding trains or buses to go from Fussen to Prague. In general my itinerary is: Arrive in Munich August 8 Take a train (or bus?) to fussen. August 10 or 11 go from Fussen to Prague by train. (seems I have to go back to munich, but still a bit confusing, I need help) August 15 Prague to Munich August 17 Munich back to US. I dont want to rent a car, so I am open for suggestion for trains or buses. What is the best way to buy the tickets?

For your travel, get your tickets from the German Rail (Bahn) website. It's easy to get from Füssen to Munich and back on the train. No advance purchase tickts are necessary. Get them just before travel. Best option is the Bayern-Ticket, and all day (after 9 AM workdays) pass for unlimited regional train travel. The Bahn runs a modern, intercity coach between the Munich Hbf and Prague. With advance purchase, tickets are as low as 29€/P. Yes, the best way from Füssen to Prague is through Munich. 29€ advance purchase ticket are available from Füssen all the way to Prague.
