I'm traveling from Bruges to Vimy Ridge (Canadian war monument near Arras) to Paris on July 11 and would like to stop at a fromagerie that offers short tours somewhere on the way. I'll have 15 clients with me, and we are traveling by private coach so we can go anywhere. Any suggestions?
If the tour can be in French, just search for "Fromagerie Visite Guidée" with the region you are looking for. In that area of France, I am doubtful you can find something in English, but maybe you'll get lucky.
Aside from the Vimy tour -- memorable, with well-informed Canadian university students as guides -- the town of Arras is itself picturesque, showing the distinct architectural influence of nearby Belgium. Also good beer drinking, another connection to the northern neighbour.
