doing a big european trip ending in Calais france we then have to get to our hotel at Heathrow London your suggestions would be appreciated not sure if this has already been covered.
Check for Eurostar trains leaving Calais for London. In London, use Tube or taxi to Paddington Station. From Paddington there are frequent trains (Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect) to Heathrow.
There are very few Eurostar trains from Calais to London. If they aren't conveniently timed for you, you might want to replan so that you can pick the Eurostar up at Lille.
I have booked the ferry from Calais to Dover now i have to get from Dover out to Heathrow any advise
Probably the easiest way in terms of changes would be to get a train from Dover to London Victoria, change to the District Line tube as far as Hammersmith, then cross the platform to take a Piccadilly Line train to Heathrow Airport. You may have to get a cab from the docks to the railway station, as the dockside railway station was closed when the Channel tunnel opened and I don't know if there's a useful bus.
